Flying Busses Through the Alps

We were traveling through Germany in a coach-style bus. The bus was headed up the alps, at quite an incline, and we were whipping around dangerous, drop away, corners, green leaf filled branches smacking the top and sides of the bus as we made our way to the top. It was getting more and more dangerous, and then our bus driver announced that we'd start our hover. And magically the bus started hovering above the ground. We were going just as fast, but all fear was gone.

Then we stopped at a little store. I kept saying to myself, "I've been here before." "I've been here before." Then I saw a little alcove and it was filled with Penn State paraphernalia. "Right!" I exclaimed, "Last time I was in Germany, we came to this store, and I totally remember all the Penn State stuff!" I turned to share my excitement, and the fiancee was sitting in a tiny Green Bay Packers chair, green and for a child, but puffy and comfortable looking, with a helmet on. He wanted to buy it all.

Then an ex-ish of mine showed up and twittered that he liked us, Mixi and Trixi, (which I knew were me and the fiancee, respectively) and each of our names had a link attached. I clicked the Mixi to see what it was, and it was my blog, but for some reason, all I had blogged about was mostly eaten bowls of soup. So it was just picture after picture of bowls with a little bit of broth and stuff in the bottom.

*I think the Germany thing popped up because my mom sent me a newspaper article about the death of my middle school German teacher.

oh, george

last night i had my second dream about george eads (aka detective nick stokes from csi).

i find this completely baffling. the first dream i can understand, i was watching a lot of csi at the time.

a lot.

an embarrassing amount of csi watching was going on.

but now? it's been months since i've seen a csi episode. and i don't exactly have george eads posters hanging in my room. this guy never crosses my mind during the day. i just don't get it.

but i'm not complaining. because the dream was AWESOME. once again, he was quite skilled at cuddling. i don't remember the whole story line of the dream - it was something about being on a group team-building type trip. and i remember he and i teaming up and me climbing trees whilst wearing nude panty hose (ew) that kept getting caught on branches and snagged. but i was having a great time in the dream and george and i were dating and he was just so wonderfully affectionate and attentive.

i'm taking these dreams as a sign from my subconscious that i need a MAN.

p.s. here are some photos of good ol' george:

Lady in Red

Finally a dream! Last night I dreamt I was at a wedding and was a bridesmaid. I had on a halter dress with shiny red (christmas red) satin fabric and a jewel that was at the base of the v. Everything at the wedding was white, which made my dress stand out even more.
It was funny because everyone kept mistaking me for the bride (even though I was in red), and saying how beautiful I looked, yet I didnt even know who the bride to be married was.
Thinking about this dream now, all I can remember is that I was really happy in the dream and the shine of the red satin and the jewel stood out to me the most...hmm what does this all mean?

sleep love (lust)

had a dream last night that i was visiting a warehouse for some kind of work-related purpose. there were a bunch of guys who worked in the warehouse and one of them was this guy from csi:

let's just say we took a strong liking to one another. in my dream, i knew he wasn't my type and so he was more of a guilty pleasure. he was very good at all sorts of things that i won't mention here. but i will mention that, on top of everything else, he was a very skilled cuddler.

thank you, detective nick stokes.

it was fun.

Flashback

I was riding in a van with a group of people, including the boy I'd been obsessed with in high school. He was wearing a dark suit. He had been sitting beside me, but then he was behind me, gently rubbing my head, forehead and cheekbones. It felt amazing.

... If memory serves, it felt rather a lot the way it actually did when he did it 10 years ago.

If LSD is stored in fat cells and produces flashbacks when they're burned, maybe my happy high school memories are trapped somewhere, too, and released when I'm sleeping. I wouldn't mind.

Baby.

I think two nights ago I had a dream where I had a baby. Or didn't have one, as much as I was given one. And I loved how it smelled and really really loved it. Although I did have a fixation on its astrological sign, and kept whispering over and over again to it that it was a Capricorn and should remember that.

A) This is my first baby dream. Ever. Does that mean my bio clock has started?
B) Capricorn? Really? I don't know any Capricorns.

The reoccuring dream

So..I have had many dreams of one of my ex's on different occasions with the varying content. It usually is about us spending time together and him doing really nice things for me. We laugh, talk , and have a great time together, which when I wake up makes me grumpy to think that in my dream, he is not like he is in real life. AT ALL. Yet, I continue to dream similar dreams of him. The most recent one, last night, we were hanging out and cooking together. He was being really attentive, and funny. There was chemistry too. I just remember waking up with a pissed off feeling that why cant dreams be real life representations of the people in our lives? But, then again, then dreams wouldn't be so interesting..I guess what I am also pondering is why he comes up so often in my dreams..and why I am so happy in my dreams and then wake up with the direct opposite emotion.
