Dead horses

I dreamed that I was responsible for keeping an old woman and a horse alive. They were fading fast and I didn't know what to do. I was getting frantic, so I thought maybe they're suffering from heat stroke. I got a water hose and started running cool water over the old woman and the horse, alternately. The old woman survived--she started shaking her head and breathing normally. The horse died, though. There was the body of the dead horse in the background.
