Patent pending

I dreamed that there was a service where you could order your contact lenses online, specifying your prescription, and then they would "print" out in a plastic sheet with perforations so that you could pop them out (and then in).

I told a friend about it (in real life) and she said, "Great! That will be the invention that pays for your grad school!"

That invention would be awesome!

wow, my dreams about contact lenses are always more disturbing than that, and never potentially profitable (they usually involve either finding 4 or 5 on one eye at one time, or finding discarded 4-inch diameter *glass* contact lenses laying around).

Oooh, oooh, I definitely have those disturbing dreams, too! It has been a while, though. You don't wear hard lenses, do you? The image of a glass lens seems familiar to me--though I do wear the RGPs.

i wore RGPs for years, so i think that's where it comes from (i wear soft disposable ones now, and i can't believe i waited that long to switch).
